Has Tiger Lost His Roar?

Par, bogey, par, par, double bogey, triple bogey, par, bogey, bogey, par, par, par, double bogey, birdie, bogey, bogey, birdie, bogey.

If I posted this round I would be pleased. 13 over for the day and I'm a happy bunny. If, however, I was the greatest golfer of all time, I'd be pretty upset. In fact, no, I'd be livid. Predicted to fall to 56 in the world, Tiger Wood's 82 at the Phoenix Open was the worst round of his professional career. The 39 year old has had some tough times in the past few years, but professionally this could be his most difficult challenge. With only his 12th cut ever, Tiger is going to have to provide something remarkable to force his was back into Major contention from this position. It is painful to watch when you've seen this thing of beauty descend into an American Horror Story. And this American Horror Story doesn't feature Emma Roberts, so unfortunately there is no redeeming factor for Tiger Woods's monstrosity of a round.

But maybe I'm just overreacting, maybe Tiger will come back, win the claret jug, the green jacket and the Ryder Cup (most unlikely of all). Or, we've seen the end of a great. A sad self-destruction and loss of sensational talent. Only time will tell...

Will Tiger recover from this?
